The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is based upon the book by Stephen Chbosky (who also directs the movie).

The Story follows Charlie (Logan Lerman), a 15 year old freshman who is described by most as a “freak”. His only friend had killed himself, leaving him to face up to the prospect of starting a new high school alone.

Charlie is predictably targeted by school bullies, but is saved by Patrick (Ezra Miller) and Sam (Emma Watson), who take Charlie under their wing and introduce him to the hard-partying lifestyle. Charlie learns lessons in life and love until a secret from his past threatens to destroy his new found happiness.

The film is due to be released in September 2012
